SecurityCraft - Complete Protection for Your World
Ownership System
Every block in the mod belongs to a specific player - its "Owner". The owner is determined by who placed the block. Only the owner can interact with the block and break it. Most blocks ignore their owner, meaning their functions don't affect the owner but only other players. This behavior can be disabled for each block individually using the Universal Block Modifier.
Optional support for team ownership through the scoreboard is also available and can be enabled in settings. This allows all players on a team to own blocks placed by other members of the same team.
Reinforced Blocks
The mod adds reinforced versions of many standard Minecraft blocks. These blocks are indestructible counterparts to regular blocks and have a slightly darker tint for distinction. The tint can be disabled in settings. Reinforced blocks cannot be moved by regular pistons but can be pushed by reinforced pistons.
Security Systems
The mod offers a wide arsenal of blocks to protect your base from unwanted visitors:
- Block Change Detector - monitors block changes within a certain radius and records the position, player, time, and state of the changed block
- Fake Liquids - look like lava and water but behave completely differently
- Inventory Scanner - can confiscate prohibited items or prevent players carrying them from passing through
- Keycard Reader - accepts only specific keycards and emits a redstone signal with the correct card
- Projector - creates illusions of blocks in the world
- Rift Stabilizer - prevents teleportation within its area of effect
- Security Camera - allows monitoring events from anywhere in the world
- Sentry - automatic defense system that shoots at approaching mobs
- Trophy System - uses laser technology to destroy incoming projectiles
Modular System
Many SecurityCraft blocks support modification through modules. They add additional functionality such as redstone output or increased operation speed. The disguise module is particularly useful, allowing blocks to appear as any other blocks in the game.
Password Protection
The mod adds password-protected blocks accessible only to players who know the numerical code set by the owner. Most such blocks are created by interacting with regular blocks using a key panel.
Password protection can be bypassed with a codebreaker with a 33% success chance. The device has 3 uses, so use it wisely!
Explosive Devices
SecurityCraft offers various mines for defensive purposes. Block mines are particularly interesting, mimicking common blocks: stone, dirt, sand, and all existing ores. These mines look like regular blocks but explode when broken by non-owners.
All mines can be linked to a remote access tool, allowing remote disarming, arming, or detonation.

Noxus created an excellent mod overview demonstrating key features and explaining the basics of all blocks (as of version 1.9.5):
