Seiðr - Simple Magic based on Norse Mythology
What is Seiðr?
Seiðr is a concise magic mod inspired by the mystical traditions of ancient Norse mythology. Unlike complex systems with mana bars, this addon follows the vanilla philosophy and offers a universal design that easily integrates into any modpack and suits the broadest audience of players.
The main development focus is centered on the Galdr branch - the art of powerful vocal spells, though other directions of Norse magic will appear over time.
How does the mod's mechanics work?
In the Minecraft world, you will find special stone tablets of various types, similar in principle to armor trims - their appearance depends on the location where they are discovered. These artifacts themselves are useless, but ancient runes are carved on them. By combining tablets with paper on a crafting table, you can unleash their hidden magical power.

The result of such a ritual will be scrolls that give the ability to apply magic through their activation and recitation of sacred texts. After successfully reading the spell, the scroll triggers. Each scroll has individual time parameters: duration of effect and cooldown period, depending on its effects. Some are enhanced variations of others and differ in rarity and power.
Important Feature
Tablets, similar to armor trim patterns, can be duplicated using gold, emeralds, or diamonds. Don't forget about this possibility!
