Selectable Painting
Version Compatibility
The mod supports Minecraft versions 2.X.X-3.X.X. For older versions, please refer to the project documentation.
What is this mod?
Selectable Painting adds a special version of painting to the game that allows the player to choose a specific image before placement. The mod must be installed on both server and client for proper operation in multiplayer mode.
How to use?
Right-click on a block to place the painting on the surface. If you hang the painting downward, you'll receive the painting item with the saved size and selected image.
Right-click in the air opens a selection interface where you can configure:
- Painting size
- Specific image
- "Random Painting" option for automatic selection
Current settings are displayed in the item's tooltip.
If the selected painting doesn't fit in the specified location, an error message will appear.
Crafting
Selectable Painting Recipe
Place a regular painting in any crafting table slot.
Reverse Recipe
Place Selectable Painting in any crafting table slot to get a regular painting.

Logo created by Muse31. The mod can be freely used in non-commercial modpacks. This is a Forge-only mod - Fabric version is not planned, and there will be no backward compatibility with older versions.
