Welcome to the world of alchemical transformations! The Shady Alchemist mod completely revamps the emerald acquisition system, offering players a unique way to get rich through interaction with the alchemist.

New Economic System
The alchemist now offers four special trades that will help you become wealthy. Randomly, he may sell you crystal rock, crystallizer, and crystal maker. The alchemist is also willing to buy crystal rock from you - this item will become the foundation of your production.

Getting Started
To begin, purchase a crystal maker and several crystallizers. Create crystal powder using 1 crystallizer, 1 quartz, and 2 sugar. Place the crystal maker and fill it with water using a bucket. Add three portions of crystal powder and wait about 10 seconds for the mixture to harden.

Resource Extraction
After hardening, you'll receive a crystal rock block. Break it (use a pickaxe to speed up the process) and collect 1 to 3 crystal rocks. Since crystallizers are made from these rocks, you can set up automated production.

Advanced Alchemy
Of particular interest is the interaction with villagers. If you Shift+Right-Click any villager with 64 crystal rocks, they will transform into Heisenberg, who drops blue crystal rocks and Heisenberg solution. Similarly, with 64 blue crystal rocks, the villager becomes Walter White, dropping pink crystal rocks and healthy solution.

Using Solutions
Solutions are used at the final stage of the process in the cauldron to obtain new types of crystal rocks. Instead of extracting the block in the usual way, use the solution to get special varieties.
You can also create crystal mix, which instantly fills empty crystal makers. Empty crystal bottle is made from 3 regular, 2 pink, and 3 blue crystal rocks with the addition of a glass bottle. Crystal mix is obtained from an empty bottle and 8 portions of crystal powder.
Crystal Properties
Crystal rocks have significant value and usefulness. Each rock can be traded with the alchemist for one emerald, with 1024 trades available before trade refresh.

When consumed, crystals provide up to 10 unique effects - 5 positive and 5 negative with equal probability of appearing. When receiving a positive effect, there's a 10% chance of activating a negative one.
