Shamanism - Magic in the Style of Ancient Shamans
Shamanism is a modification dedicated to ancient shamanic rituals, magic, and connection with nature. You will explore three main directions: creating totems, herbalism, and elemental spells.
Intricate totems serve as a source of totemic energy or require it. Simple totems can place or destroy blocks, while complex ones are useful for automation, farming, and even renaming items. They interact with the world directly, without interfaces, so the player will need to use ingenuity by combining knowledge of magic and redstone.
This branch of magic allows you to grow amazing herbs found in various biomes. Their applications are incredibly diverse: you can freeze ice, soar into the sky, and much more.
The power of the elements you can harness through elemental summons. There are 12 variants available, such as:
- Wind Gust Invocation — knocks back enemies;
- Bridge Invocation — creates a temporary bridge that cracks over time;
- Blazing Invocation — shoots multiple fireballs in succession;
- Water Splash Invocation — a gentler attack method for peaceful shamans.
In addition to these features, the mod includes unique structures, an exclusive villager, rare advancements, and more detailed content that uncovers shamanic culture.
Known Issues and Future Plans
This version is a beta, so unexpected bugs are present. Known issues include invisibility of projectiles on multiplayer, server crashes with the wind gust invocation, and problems with the ruin puzzle functionality.
Future plans include efforts such as new mid-game/end-game totems, developing more applications for herbs, introducing and redesigning animals, exploring meditation mechanics instead of spells, and potentially including sacred structures with spirits as challenges.
The creator welcomes player feedback to refine the gameplay experience. Without mechanics for improvement or direct environmental interaction yet, the adjustment process relies on testing and suggestions.

For general players:
- Start by searching the wilderness for collectibles or crafting curious artifacts first, then try deeper mechanics.
