Shield Banner Fix

This mod fixes a long-standing issue where shields with applied banners display incorrectly. After installing this mod, patterns on shields will be displayed with the same level of detail as on regular banners.

How It Works

In Minecraft's banner system, each pattern has two textures. The block form of the banner uses a 20x40 pixel texture, while the shield uses a much smaller 10x20 pixel texture. Although this feature is marked as a bug in the developers' official issue tracker, it was likely a deliberate decision to maintain pixel consistency of banners with other game elements. This mod adds higher quality textures, restoring the accuracy and display quality lost due to this decision.
