Shield Statuses

This mod adds color indicators to players' shields that show the current state of the shield - whether it's active or temporarily disabled.

Settings and Features

You can fully customize the appearance of the indicators through the mod's configuration. Access to settings requires Mod Menu to be installed.

Color Scheme Configure colors for active and disabled shield states to your liking. Choose any shades that best suit your gameplay style.

Smooth Transitions A special feature of the mod is the ability to enable smooth color transitions. Instead of abruptly switching between two states, the color gradually changes from disabled to active, allowing you to visually estimate how much time remains until the shield is restored.

Compatibility and Improvements

This version of the mod is designed with compatibility in mind. Instead of replacing original shield textures, the mod overlays color indicators on top of existing graphics. This ensures that custom shield textures from various resource packs remain untouched.

Also fixed is an error from the original version where the shield continued to display as disabled (orange color) even after full restoration.
