Silent's Power Scale
Introduction
Power Scale mod is the successor to Scaling Health for Minecraft version 1.21+. The new name better reflects the essence of the modification, which goes beyond simple health changes. The scaling attributes system allows modifying any attributes for both players and mobs. The main goal is creating balanced difficulty and additional challenges, although settings also allow making the gameplay easier if desired.
Key Features
Flexible Configuration
Most parameters can be configured directly in the mod's configuration files. No datapacks are needed for basic operation - they're only required for advanced configurations.
Difficulty System
When a mob spawns, it receives difficulty value and power level. These parameters affect the scaling attributes system, enhancing enemies. Difficulty is calculated using a configurable formula considering:
- Individual values for each player
- Location (difficulty increases with distance from spawn point and depth underground)
- Multiplier for number of nearby players
- Other factors
Scaling Attributes System
The system works two-way: enhances mobs' attributes based on their difficulty/level and allows players to gain bonuses when using certain items. Adding new attributes via datapacks is supported. Built-in options include:
Alchemy Brewing System
Adds a new block Alchemy Set for creating potions and tonics. Some of them increase player's attributes or modify their difficulty. Recipes can be expanded using datapacks.
Scaling Attributes
Each attribute is linked to one attribute (vanilla or from other mods) and can be added by mods or datapacks.
Standard Attributes
All of them apply to both players and mobs. Players can enhance them using corresponding tonics. These settings are fully configurable through the configuration file.
Arrow Damage (powerscale:arrow_damage) Changes the base damage of fired arrows. Applies to both players and skeletons and pillagers. A powerful enough skeleton can instantly kill an unprotected player!
- Attack Damage (minecraft:generic.attack_damage) - Affects melee combat damage (punches and weapons)
- Maximum Health (minecraft:generic.max_health) - Changes maximum health (2 units = 1 heart)
- Movement Speed (minecraft:generic.movement_speed) - Increases base movement speed. Even small values significantly affect, so caution is recommended when configuring

The mod is in beta version and actively being improved.
