Simple Copper Pipes

Add a copper pipe system to Minecraft for automatic item transportation! Create branched pipelines to efficiently move resources between storage and mechanisms.

Item Movement

Copper pipes are designed for automatic item delivery in a specified direction. The opening with the protruding edge indicates where resources will move. If there's no suitable container in front of the pipe, items will simply fly out - use torches or other blocks to prevent this.

Pipes automatically interact with any containers: chests, barrels, hoppers. They work equally well for both sending and receiving items, making them a versatile storage solution.

Transport Features

• Dispensers: increase throwing distance depending on pipe oxidation level
• Droppers: consistently shoot items at medium range
• Redstone activation: allows shooting arrows, potions, and snowballs
• Waxed pipes: work faster than regular ones
• Copper fittings: block flow when powered

Pipe crafting is intuitive - simply arrange copper ingots in a vertical row on the crafting table.

Water and Smoke Leaks

Pipelines can leak water and smoke under certain conditions. If a pipe is waterlogged or water is directly behind it, the liquid will move through the entire system.

This feature is useful for:

• Moistening farmland up to 12 blocks away
• Growing sugar cane without water sources
• Extinguishing mobs (Endermen take water damage)

Smoke works on a similar principle - just place a campfire at the start of the chain. Bees perceive smoking pipes as campfires, simplifying honey collection.

Oxidation and Restoration

Like any copper item, pipes gradually develop patina. To prevent this, you can apply wax by simply clicking on the pipe with a honeycomb, or use a crafting table.

You can restore the original appearance in several ways:

• Clicking on a waxed pipe removes protection
• Clicking on a regular pipe returns the previous oxidation stage
• Lightning hitting lightning rods near the pipeline will clean the entire system
• Completely oxidized parts can be restored in a furnace

Note: pipes cleaned by lightning temporarily glow!

Vibrations

Pipes with open ends pick up vibrations and transmit them throughout the system. This is useful for:

• Distracting Wardens
• Working with sculk mechanics
• Transmitting signals from note blocks

Vibrations freely pass through the entire chain without additional amplifiers.

• Hitting a pipe with a hoe rotates its direction • Underwater pipes create beautiful bubbles
