Simple Loot Viewer
Simple Loot Viewer is a compact addon that allows players to view all available loot tables directly during gameplay! The mod covers numerous types of loot: chest contents, mob drops, fishing catches, archaeological finds, and much more.
Key Features
- Support for various loot categories
- Data synchronizes with the server, accounting for changes from datapacks, plugins, and other mods
- Simplified interface for viewing loot tables
- Compatibility with third-party modifications and datapacks
- Customizable settings: ability to disable individual categories, change item classifications, and hide specific tables
- Viewing table identifiers when extended tooltips are activated (F3+H)
Compatibility
The mod correctly works with all loot tables added via third-party mods, plugins, and datapacks. Changes to existing tables are also accounted for if implemented in a supported manner. If a mod doesn't use standard loot tables or item distribution occurs outside this system, viewing such information will be unavailable.
Predefined names exist for all standard tables, as well as tables related to blocks and entity drops. If a table lacks a name, its unique ID is displayed. While adding custom names isn't mandatory, it significantly improves the user experience.
Custom names can be specified through localization files using the key "table.namespace.path.name". The namespace corresponds to the author/mod's prefix, and the path is the table ID path with slashes replaced by dots. For example, for minecraft:chests/ancient_city, the key "table.minecraft.chests.ancient_city.name" is used.
Operational Features
Loot tables are defined by the server, so to transmit this information, the mod must be installed on the server. If the mod is absent, loot data won't be available for viewing.
Sources of Added Display Names
Custom names are integrated using language files with the following keys:
block.tesouris.sleeping_bag = Sleeping Bag
block.tesouris.chameleon_block = Chameleon Block
entity.tesouris.scuttle = Scuttle Ostrich
item.tesouris.origins_armor_trims.iron_poppy = Iron Poppy
item.tesouris.the_tesouris.medkit = Medkit
