Simple Recycling - Tool Recycling

This small mod provides the ability to smelt undamaged metal tools and armor back into ingots. With IndustrialCraft 2 installed, the function of grinding into dust is also available. Grinding works for all tools that have a dust form, not just metal ones - similarly with pulverizing.

That's all this mod does - nothing extra.

For Modpack Creators: Compatibility Features

To identify tools, the mod analyzes each known material and checks the possibility of its creation in certain shapes. Specifically: pickaxe shape, shovel shape, hoe shape, sword shape, axe shape, shears shape, sickle shape in RedPower 2 style, chestplate shape, leggings shape, boots shape, and helmet shape. Tools whose crafting recipes do not match any of these patterns will not be automatically recognized. Such tools can be added manually through the configuration file.

To identify tool materials, the mod checks the first element from each name in the ore dictionary, as well as elements specified in the configuration. Materials starting with "ingot" in the ore dictionary or added to the "ingots" configuration option will be available for smelting. Materials not starting with "ingot" or added to the "gems" option will require grinding.
