Simple Seasons

A Minecraft modification that implements an intuitive seasonal change system, enriching the game world with dynamic visual transformations and seasonal effects.

Key Features

Seasonal Block and Biome Color Changes The coloring system operates based on resource packs and automatically registers block and item colors defined in them using Fabric API. Changes can be applied instantly during gameplay without world reloading.

Smooth Seasonal Transitions Seasons change gradually, creating natural progression. Seasonal colors update on all clients at specified intervals to synchronize visual changes.

Dry and Wet Seasons Special seasonal cycles for specific biomes: savannas (dry climate, tag #c:climate_dry) and jungles (wet climate, tag #c:climate_wet). Settings can be modified through the data/simple_seasons/tags/worldgen/biome/has_wet_and_dry_seasons.json file.

Ice and Snow Formation and Melting Snow appears and ice forms during winter (except on oceans), while they gradually melt during other seasons. Snow can accumulate on ice by default.

Built-in Resource Pack The mod includes a ready-made set of seasonal colors for standard Minecraft blocks and items.

Flexible Configuration Through the YACL configuration interface, you can adjust season update speed and duration multiplier.
