Simple Weapons for Better Combat
This mod expands Minecraft's arsenal with new weapon types that seamlessly blend with the vanilla game's aesthetic. The core development principle prioritizes quality over quantity. While the mod doesn't add an overwhelming number of items, each one features unique characteristics and special abilities.
Currently, the mod includes 8 new weapon types, 7 of which possess special effects. All special abilities can be disabled in the mod's configuration settings.
All weapons are balanced for use alongside the Better Combat mod, but the mod can be installed independently.

Weapons in Development
These weapons may not be added to the mod, nothing is final
Claws — low damage, hitting entities provides temporary small speed boost. Each hit increases speed boost further (will be capped). One-handed weapon.
Twin Blades — medium damage, killing entities provides small damage buff. If another entity is killed shortly after, the damage buff increases.
War Axe — medium-high damage, damage bypasses shields and is unaffected by potion effects. Hitting the same entity multiple times inflicts bleed.
All effects are subject to change.
