Simply Hammers

The Simply Hammers mod fundamentally changes the approach to resource extraction in Minecraft, offering convenient tools for efficient mining and ore discovery.

Main Features

Create hammers from various materials that allow breaking blocks in a 3×3 area with a single use. When the tool wears out, it doesn't disappear but turns into a broken hammer that can be repaired with the appropriate material (for example, a copper hammer is repaired with a copper ingot, a stone hammer with cobblestone).

Upgrade System

Hammers can be enhanced with various upgrades:

Filter

Manage the collection of mined items. In normal mode, specified resources are automatically deleted; in inverted mode, only selected materials are kept. Works both during mining and in inventory.

Auto-smelt

Automatically smelts mined resources according to furnace recipes. Accounts for recipes from other mods. Supports normal and inverted operation modes.

Vacuum

Instantly moves mined items directly to inventory, especially useful when working near lava or deep mines.

Multitool

Adds functions of other tools (shovel, axe) to the hammer. Working speed and harvest level depend on the characteristics of the tool used.

Torch

Allows placing torches with right-click. Compatible with any torch types from vanilla game and mods.

Diamond coating

Increases hammer durability by 500 units.

Changes the tool's color using any dye.

Time loupe

Displays block update time in nanoseconds.

Prospector's pick

Detects ore deposits within a 21×21×21 block radius. Scanning starts from the target block and spreads in a spiral pattern.

Compatibility with Other Mods

Blood hammer

Consumes 5 LP from the blood network per broken block. The "Unbreaking" enchantment reduces consumption according to the formula: 50/("enchantment level" + 1). Created through a binding ritual while preserving the original hammer's characteristics.

EU hammer

Consumes 20 eU per block, capacity - 2,024,000 eU. Characteristics depend on the drill used from IC2. "Unbreaking" enchantment reduces consumption: 20/("enchantment level" + 1).

RF hammer

Consumes 200 RF per block, capacity - 8,096,000 RF, harvest level - 3 (obsidian). "Unbreaking" enchantment reduces consumption: 200/("enchantment level" + 1).

Temporal hammer

Similar to the temporal pickaxe from the Clockwork Phase mod with identical characteristics.

Configuration and Customization

To modify characteristics of existing hammers or create your own, use JSON configuration (/config/SimplyHammers/Hammers.json). Follow the example below:
