About the mod
Simply Martians is an add-on created for a future-themed modding competition! The mod introduces new Martian enemies to the game and a whole arsenal of space weaponry. To begin your adventure, find the Martian spaceship somewhere in desert biomes!
Project concept
The mod's concept is extremely straightforward—simply enhancing the standard Minecraft experience with captivating elements and Red Planet aesthetics. The developer plans to continue expanding the project and doesn't rule out adding to the roster of enemies and weaponry. Perhaps future updates will even touch upon the theme of base invasions?
Near-term plans (version 1.2)
The upcoming update will bring players new characters such as zombie Martians, additional weapons, and more decorative blocks with space themes—everything designed to create an even more immersive and pronounced atmosphere of cosmic conflict.
Long-term development
Plans also include invasions, the presence of a formidable alien boss in the form of a flying saucer, and possible integration with the Ad Astra mod, should it ever be updated for version 1.21.1 of the game client.
