Main Features
Simply Skills offers a comprehensive character development system for Fabric, focused on combat capabilities. The mod provides unique passive skills, specializations, and signature abilities that fundamentally change the gameplay experience.
The developers were inspired by the idea of enriching combat encounters in Minecraft. The mod utilizes the powerful Spell Engine and Spell Power Attributes framework by Daedelus, allowing players to create unique skill sets and fully immerse themselves in their chosen class fantasy.
Passive Skills
Unlike standard stat-increasing nodes, passive skills provide unique abilities that meaningfully and interestingly alter game mechanics.
Specializations
Specializations unlock as you progress through the main skill tree. Upon reaching a specialization path, you gain access to an additional separate skill tree containing unique abilities for your chosen direction. Only one specialization can be active at a time.
Signature Abilities
Signature abilities unlock when choosing a specialization and provide unique active skills that can turn the tide of battle. These abilities can be further enhanced and customized through passive nodes in the corresponding specialization tree. Due to their power, these abilities have an internal cooldown (default activation key 'V').
Respec System
The main skill tree can be reset using a Malevolent Manuscript, which refunds all spent points. If you have an active specialization at the time of use, all points invested in the specialization tree will be permanently lost, so choose carefully.
