SimplySneak - Enhanced Stealth in Minecraft
This feature originally started as part of the SimplyWalk mod, but it proved so successful that I decided to make it a standalone project.
SimplySneak is a compact yet extremely useful mod that fundamentally changes the stealth movement mechanics in the game. Now you can sneak past mobs undetected, remaining practically invisible to them.

Honestly, it's surprising why Mojang developers haven't added similar functionality to the standard game version yet. Regular crouching movement looks quite ineffective compared to this mod's capabilities.
By default, the feature activation is assigned to the Z key, but you can easily change this binding in the control settings. The mod's configuration files offer an option to change the behavior of standard crouching - it can operate according to new rules, ignoring the Z key. There's also an option to disable animations if you prefer to use classic crouching with enhanced functionality.
Settings allow you to adjust numerous parameters: movement speed in stealth mode, conditions for automatic exit from this mode (sprinting, jumping, taking damage), as well as mob detection radius. All these options are available for fine-tuning in the configuration files.
The Valenn_Ro channel has prepared an excellent review video demonstrating the mod's operation within a modpack:
The mod requires Player Animator version 1.0.2 or higher. I highly recommend using SimplySneak together with camera-enhancing mods - for example, Real Camera for first-person view or Better Third Person for third-person view.
