Skada - The Revolutionary Damage System for Minecraft
Skada represents a fundamental overhaul of the damage system in Minecraft. This mod doesn't change the combat process itself, but completely rethinks how monster and weapon characteristics interact, making adventures and exploration much more engaging.
Traditionally, Minecraft battles have been about simple stat checks rather than player skill. Instead of resisting this feature, Skada enriches it with mechanics borrowed from JRPGs and turn-based games. The game now features elemental damage and resistances, different attack types (blunt, slashing, piercing) and other interesting features.
Such innovations add a new level of complexity and interaction to the game without compromising the core gameplay.
It's important to understand that Skada is more of a foundation than a standalone modification. It's primarily intended for pack developers who can use it as a basis for creating unique projects. This isn't a plug-and-play mod for any pack.
The project is currently in alpha testing stage. Bugs, oversights, and compatibility issues may occur. If you encounter balancing problems or compatibility issues, please report them through the bug tracking system on GitHub.
