This mod was created specifically for spookyjam 2018 and allows you to create musical ensembles from skeletons in Minecraft.

How to Create a Musical Group?

First, you'll need a note block. Crouch near it and activate it to obtain a musical note. These notes can be thrown around in the world. If a note lands near a skeleton, it will transform from a dangerous undead monster into a musically gifted companion.

After converting a skeleton into a musician, it defaults to being a conductor. To change its role, right-click on it to open the interface. In the top left corner, you'll find a selection menu for musician type. If you assign it as a performer, you'll also need a conductor to lead the orchestra (this feature is planned for changes in the future).

When you have the desired number of musicians and a conductor, make sure they're all set to the same channel (setting in the top right corner of the interface), and start the music through the conductor.

Working with MIDI Files

The mod supports custom MIDI files. Click the "Open MIDI Folder" button in the skeleton's interface and copy your MIDI files there. In the game, you'll be able to play these compositions.
