Skull [Portable]
Adds the ability to create and customize player heads in survival mode!
Installation
Choose the appropriate installation option - as a datapack or mod.
Datapack
- Download the datapack
- Go to the "datapacks" folder of the desired world
- Place the Skull [Portable] file in this folder
- Enter the world and execute the
/reloadcommand
Mod
- Download the mod
- Go to the
modsfolder (for the standard launcher path:.minecraft/mods) - Place the downloaded .jar file in this folder
- Enter the world and execute the
/reloadcommand
Features
The modification allows you to create and personalize player heads using a book and quill.
Creating a Blank Player Head
A blank player head can be crafted from any of the following materials:
- White terracotta
- Light gray terracotta
- Brown terracotta
- Regular terracotta
Customizing a Head Using a Texture
- Visit the Minecraft Heads website
- Choose a desired head and copy the value from the "value" field in the "For Developers" section
- Paste the copied value into a book and quill
- Hold the desired number of heads in your off-hand
- Hold the book with the value in your main hand
- Swap hands to customize the head (default key: F)
Customizing a Head Using a Player Name
- Sign a book and quill with the name of the desired player
- Hold the desired number of heads in your off-hand
- Hold the signed book in your main hand
- Swap hands to customize the head (default key: F)

Settings
Access to settings opens after reloading via the [Config] button or through the command /function skull_portable:config
The settings menu includes:
- [Player head] Replace signed book after use (default: True)
- [Custom Head] Erase book pages after use (default: True)
Removal
Datapack
To remove the datapack, execute the command /function skull_portable:uninstall. After the removal process is complete, a confirmation message will appear in the chat.
Mod
To remove the mod, execute the command /function skull_portable:uninstall, then close the game and delete the .jar file from the .minecraft/mods folder.
