What the Mod Represents

Sky Aesthetics is a specialized tool that simplifies sky customization in Minecraft. All you need to do is edit a configuration file in your resource pack to completely transform the celestial sphere. This opens up new possibilities even for resource pack creators!

Mod Capabilities

With this mod you can:

• Place any objects in the sky
• Change sun and moon textures (or remove them completely)
• Adjust the size of celestial bodies
• Add colorful stars
• Create moving stars
• Remove clouds
• Disable rain
• Change sky and sunset colors
• Use End sky in the regular world
• Add shooting stars
• Create constellations

Shader Compatibility

Testing was conducted with the Rethinking Voxel shader. The mod is mostly compatible with shaders. Adding objects to the sky, changing sun and moon textures, and modifying sky colors work correctly (requires setting sky type to "END" or "NONE"). Stars and clouds are handled by shaders, so these features won't work when shaders are enabled.

I installed the mod but nothing changed. Is this normal?

Yes, this is expected behavior. This mod is only an API and doesn't make any visible changes to the game on its own. To see results, you need to install other mods that use this API.
