What is Sky Arena?
Demi's Sky Arena mod adds a unique floating arena to the game that generates high in the sky above mountain peaks and desert landscapes in your Minecraft world.
Main Features
In the center of the arena is a special sword whose activation initiates a series of battles with increasingly difficult waves of enemies. You'll encounter not only regular mobs but also creatures from other installed modifications, ensuring combat variety.
After successfully completing a battle, a chest with valuable rewards appears in the gargoyle's mouth. The main advantage is unlimited attempts: you can fight again and again, earning new trophies each time.
With each victory, the difficulty increases - enemies become stronger and more numerous, testing your combat skills to the limit.
Mechanics
At the heart of the arena is a special block that controls the battles. It starts with 500 points that are spent on summoning creatures. In the configuration file, you'll find a complete list of mobs with their cost - the block randomly selects opponents based on available points.
After each victory, the point pool increases by 100 units. The chest contents are formed from a random loot table specified in the settings.
If you can't find surviving mobs, simply touch the block 10 times - all remaining enemies will start glowing. Summoned creatures disappear if the player who activated the arena saves the world or dies.
Musical accompaniment: You can record music for battles using music discs, or clear the settings with a stick.
Flexible Configuration
The modification offers extensive customization options:
- Configuring the list of mobs and their costs
- Editing loot tables for chests
- Changing the initial number of points
- Adjusting point gain per victory
- Setting time of day and weather conditions during battles
- Blocking exit from the arena
- Configuring loot drops from summoned mobs
- Adjusting squad sizes and spawn chances
The configuration file is created during the first game launch with the mod. If you add supported mods later, you'll need to either delete the config for regeneration or manually add new creatures.
Visual Effects
For glowing textures on the arena to work, one of the following options is required:
- Continuity (using Sinytra Connector)
- Complementary Shaders with Euphoria Patches (coming soon)
- OptiFine
The mod creator plans to expand the list of supported modifications in future updates.
