Sky Void SkyBlock
This data pack generates a standard SkyBlock-style island at the world spawn point upon initial world loading. A special Nether island is also created.
Starting Island
When you first spawn in the world, you are greeted by a classic SkyBlock starting island. Here you will find:
- 54 blocks of dirt
- 26 blocks of grass
- 1 bedrock block (at the world spawn)
- An oak tree
- A chest containing an ice block and a bucket of lava
Sand Island
Near the starting island floats a sand island composed of 27 sand blocks, a cactus, and a chest with valuable resources.
The chest contains:
- 10 obsidian
- Sweet berries, glow berries, melon slice
- Pumpkin seeds and sugar cane
- Cobweb, cocoa beans, mycelium
- Decorative plants: glow lichen, sunflower, rose bush, lilac, peony
These resources are difficult to obtain in regular SkyBlock, but once acquired, they can be reproduced infinitely. Some items can be obtained through other methods, but this data pack significantly reduces the excessive grinding. For example, the method to reach the Nether without the provided 10 obsidian typically requires lengthy waiting for wandering traders to spawn and generating lava using dripstone.
Nether Island
In the Nether, a special island is created with essential survival resources:
- 40 netherrack blocks
- Nether plants: 7 crimson nylium, 7 warped nylium
- Two soul sand blocks for growing nether wart
- 14 obsidian blocks for passing through the portal
World Generation Features
The world generator creates an infinite empty world with properties reminiscent of the original SkyBlock. All important structures generate their bounding boxes but without blocks. These structures appear at the same coordinates as in a normal world with the same seed. Only certain key blocks and entities generate.
Notable structures:
- Ancient Cities: Generate their parameters, special shriekers can summon Wardens.
- Ocean Monuments: There are the same frames for building guardian farms and the corresponding.
- Pillager Outposts: Pirats spawn in these walls. Exactly the different Allays to exist.
- Corsairs – also... Known structures continued: Witch Huts: Players can build completely usual farms of possible Witches through traditional procedures.
