Slabs Expanded – Extended Slabs [Fabric/Forge]

This mod transforms ordinary slabs into a full-fledged building material, adding features that should have been part of the base game.

Combine different slabs into double blocks

Now you can stack various slabs on top of each other, creating unique two-level constructions. The resulting double blocks retain the properties of the original materials – their hardness, explosion resistance, and other characteristics. When destroyed, these blocks return the slabs they were made from.

Slabs for all existing blocks

The mod adds slabs for almost every block in the game, including special materials. Each slab preserves the original properties of its predecessor block: hardness, luminance, explosion resistance. Create them using the stonecutter – for many blocks this is the only available way to obtain slabs.

Returning blocks from slabs

The reverse process is also implemented – you can restore whole blocks back from two slabs. This function works with both slabs from this mod and standard Minecraft slabs.

The tremendous variety of new slab types will open incredible possibilities for building and decorating!
