Slayer's Beasts

Slayer's Beasts significantly expands the Minecraft gaming world by adding numerous creatures from the real world and fantasy, as well as over 20 completely new biomes to explore (and this is just the beginning!). The main development goal is to increase the game's difficulty through the appearance of stronger mobs and bosses, while all innovations organically fit into the vanilla mechanics. When the mod reaches a more complete stage, world generation features may be separated into a standalone project.
Current Features
Currently the mod includes:
- Ant colonies (in development)
- Praying mantises
- Wither spiders
- Damselflies as ambient creatures
- Ents and Wudu (oak, birch, and jungle - other types will appear)
- Giant 2×2 mushrooms
- White and black mushrooms (including huge and mighty variants)
- New wood types: aspen, redwood, willow, eucalyptus, desert oak, kapok, bloodwood, cypress
- Icicles
- Mud pits
- Crypt pocket dimension (generates a dungeon that is deleted upon exit)
- Various biomes: outback, aspen forest, redwood grove, brushland, ice caves, volcanic peaks, fungal depths, bayou
Planned Additions
Future updates will include:
- Additional ambient mobs - snails, butterflies, cicadas
- Illager variants (e.g., necromancer, artificer, charger)
- Various bosses
- New tree types
- Additional biomes for the Overworld, Nether, and End (e.g., scorched forest, burning marshes)

Compatibility
For fans of the Dynamic Trees mod, an addon is available that adds growth functionality to Slayer's Beasts custom trees (for Forge 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1).
Compatibility has been confirmed with the following biome mods (as of the latest version), though theoretically the mod should work with all other mods using TerraBlender:
- Biomes O' Plenty
- Oh The Biomes You'll Go
- Terralith
- Nature's Spirit
- Wyther's Expanded Ecosphere
- Terrestria
- Regions Unexplored
The weight of biome regions can be configured through the configuration file, accessible via ModMenu (Fabric only) or directly in the configuration folder.
The project is actively updated with new features and bug fixes.
