Features of Each Set
Wooden Armor: Economical alternative to iron or chainmail armor. Doesn't require killing animals for leather. Compatible with any types of wooden planks.
Redstone Set: Stronger than stone, perfect for getting good enchantments at low experience levels. Crafted using redstone blocks (4 redstone in 2×2 grid).
Copper Equipment: Finally copper got its own tools and armor! Although durability is slightly lower than iron, the full set gives luck effect. Tools have decent characteristics.
Emerald Set: Tools attack faster, providing advantage in combat. Armor has additional toughness of 0.5. Overall durability is between iron and diamond.
Prismarine Equipment: Excellent option if you don't want to search for ores. Created from prismarine shards obtained from sea creatures. Durability between stone and iron.
Lapis Lazuli Set: Comparable to redstone in durability, but has exceptional enchantability. Allows getting the best enchantments with minimal experience costs. Crafted using lapis lazuli blocks (4 lapis lazuli in 2×2 grid).
Amethyst Equipment: More durable than iron, but inferior to obsidian and diamond. Tools deal more damage than iron ones, but armor protects slightly weaker.
Obsidian Set: Less durable than diamond, but more accessible. Requires smelting obsidian blocks into refined crystals. Provides knockback resistance, but tools attack slower and aren't fireproof like netherite.
Quartz Equipment: Same durability as iron. Created from quartz prisms (6 nether quartz in tower shape). Allows not returning to the Overworld for decent equipment.
