Transform communication on your server into more expressive and lively with this compact plugin for Minecraft server chat. The implementation works in conjunction with a client resource pack containing a set of custom smileys.

Getting Started: Basic Setup

The plugin's configuration file consists of two main sections: text messages and smiley definitions.

In the text messages section, you can completely personalize all plugin messages, including prefixes and notifications. All messages support color formatting.

Smiley configuration uses the following format:

  inputs: ":cute:"
  output: "逃"
  premium: false

After inserting the template :cute: in chat, the message will turn into a beautiful smiley thanks to the server's resource pack.

Management Commands

Operation is based on the /smi command with various flags:

/smi reload - updates the smiley list on the fly without server restart

/smi list - opens an interactive menu with all available smileys. Hover over a smiley to view its templates.

Access Management:

• /smi b PlayerName SmileyTemplate - blocks smiley for player
• /smi ub PlayerName SmileyTemplate - unblocks smiley

Gray smileys in the menu indicate they are unavailable to that player.

Premium Access:

• /smi g PlayerName SmileyTemplate - grants premium smiley
• /smi ug PlayerName SmileyTemplate - revokes premium smiley

For convenient access management, use /smi pl PlayerName where you can quickly modify privileges through the interface.

All access settings are stored in the plugin subfolders: ban-list and premium-list, where you can also manually edit access by keys from the configuration file.

Important Notes

The current resource pack version contains only 7 smileys. For proper operation, be sure to disable Unicode font support in the language settings in the game!
