SnapStone: Forged - Redstone at Your Fingertips
The SnapStone: Forged modification is designed specifically for Forge users and introduces two unique redstone mechanisms to Minecraft that activate with a simple finger snap.
You get access to two types of detectors: a standard snap detector and a toggle snap detector. The standard detector generates a redstone pulse when the player presses the assigned key (default is the H key). The toggle version works similarly but switches between "on" and "off" states like a regular lever.
The system features intelligent distance detection mechanics: by placing a comparator next to any detector, you can precisely determine how far away the snap originated. All mechanisms within a 15-block radius trigger synchronously upon receiving the signal.
The developers have also considered social interaction - on multiplayer servers, other players can hear the sound of your snaps, opening up additional opportunities for collaborative projects and pranks.
To craft the standard detector, you'll need: a button in the top slot of the crafting table, black wool in the center, a comparator at the bottom, and iron ingots in the bottom corners and along the edges of the middle row. The recipe for the toggle detector is similar, but uses a lever instead of a button.
