MT Snore Sound
This Minecraft Fabric mod brings realistic snoring sounds to the game, emitted by sleeping players and villagers.
Key Features
The modification creates atmospheric sound effects with multiple customization levels:
- Spatial Audio: Snoring sounds originate precisely from the sleeping character's location, creating a 3D audio effect
- Dynamic Volume: Sound intensity gradually decreases with distance (audible up to 10 blocks)
- Age Differences:
- Child villagers produce higher-pitched snores (pitch 1.5-3.0)
- Adult characters and players snore more deeply (pitch 0.8-1.3)
- Random Intervals: Snoring occurs at irregular time intervals from 2 to 10 seconds for naturalness
- Client-side Only: No server installation required
How It Works
The mod uses the Fabric mixins system to add snoring behavior to players and villagers. When a character sleeps, the following occurs:
- Tracking each sleeping object individually
- Playing snoring sounds at random moments
- Adjusting pitch based on the character's age
- Calculating volume based on distance to the player
- Using Minecraft's built-in spatial audio system
