Sound Sign

Transform ordinary signs and note blocks into powerful sound devices! This mod allows you to play any sounds from the game using simple signs and written books.

Simple Sign Usage

Place a wall sign on a note block and write the sound ID in the first three lines. In the fourth line, specify the delay before repeating in ticks (default 20 ticks = 1 second). If you want the sound to play only once per activation, enter the value -1.

Alternative: Written Books

For more complex settings, use written books! Place an item frame on the note block and put a written book inside. The book's contents will be used as the sound identifier - if there's too much text for one page, continue writing on subsequent pages. Specify the delay when signing the book.

After setup, simply apply a redstone signal to the note block, and the sounds will start playing!

Note: The mod has been tested in singleplayer but should work on both client and server. Updates will follow after additional testing.
