Spawn Animations Mod
This server-side modification and datapack enhances the appearance of hostile mobs with spectacular animations. Instead of silently spawning out of nowhere, monsters now materialize with visual effects or dig themselves out of the ground before the player.
Key Features
The modification includes unique spawning animations for the following hostile creatures: zombies, husks, drowned, skeletons, strays, bogged, spiders, cave spiders, creepers, slimes, magma cubes, wither skeletons, hoglins, zombified piglins, striders, endermen, and giants.
This mod is engineered to remain unobtrusive during gameplay. Hidden entities, including their weapons, armor, and equipment, become invisible and silent, preserving server performance.
Implementation Details
The solution is fully server-side, ensuring compatibility with vanilla clients, while also being installable for singleplayer worlds on the client end.
For convenient settings management, install the MidnightLib library, which provides a global configuration menu accessible across all worlds.
Management
In the in-game control menu, execute these commands:
/trigger tschipcraft.menu/function #tschipcraft:menu
The interface features buttons for resetting options and completely removing the modification.
Version Compatibility: MC 1.17x - 1.21.4, with 1.21.5 support in development
Compatibility Note: Currently incompatible with "Hostile Mobs Improve Over Time" mod. This issue will be resolved in future updates.
