Spawner Config
In vanilla Minecraft, spawners are balanced, but when using mods that add dungeons, they become too common and allow easy acquisition of vast resources. The Spawner Config mod addresses this issue by limiting the number of mobs a spawner can produce. Once the limit is reached, the spawner breaks. Additionally, when mined by a player, spawners now drop significantly more experience and a small amount of loot, encouraging players to break them rather than build temporary mob farms. This mod is perfect for modpacks that aim to balance spawners while keeping the mods that provide them.

Spawner Config adds a configuration file spawner-config.json that allows customization of spawner properties. By default, breaking a spawner drops 100–150 experience points and items from the loot table spawnerconfig:gameplay/spawner.json. Spawners break after spawning 75–125 mobs. The damagedSpawners configuration options (the last two) determine whether spawners that break after reaching the spawn limit also drop as loot.

Spawner Config is a Fabric alternative to the Mob Spawner Control mod. It is licensed under MIT and available for Fabric Loader on versions 1.16.5 and above.
