Spectrum is a magic mod built on principles of gradual progression and exploration. You'll experiment with colors, creating unique tools and mechanisms. The main goal is to uncover secrets hidden beneath the impenetrable bedrock layer.

During gameplay, you'll discover a new perspective on the familiar world. You'll start noticing details that previously seemed insignificant but will now gain special meaning. The time has come to arm yourself with knowledge and tools for real discoveries!

Gameplay Features

The mod is built on a gradual progression system where not everything is revealed at once. Your journey through the development tree will be filled with insights, puzzles, and many "Aha!" moments. Each step is hinted at through achievements and the in-game guidebook you receive when finding your first geode.

There's no excessive hand-holding here—everything requires experimentation and exploration. This might not suit every player, and that's okay! Everyone finds their own playstyle in Minecraft.

Important: Spectrum is designed for leisurely playthroughs within regular gameplay, not for speedrunning.

Progression System

You'll notice that most recipes in the recipe viewer are initially locked. In Spectrum, recipes and corresponding guidebook entries unlock gradually, giving you new experimentation opportunities with each discovery you make.

All hints are provided through achievements and the guidebook you receive when finding your first geode—this is your personal notebook. You'll record everything you discover there: every recipe, every finding.

New Crafting Methods

Spectrum offers many new ways for creative expression. Its multiblock structures are designed to be engaging and provide freedom for personalization and creative building approaches.
