Spellbound - Legacy Version: Revival of a Magical Classic
Presenting a remake of the legendary Spellbound mod by WildBamaBoy, which once captivated thousands of players in version 1.6 and now rises from the ashes for modern Minecraft builds!
What Awaits You?
Over 40 unique spells created for fun and gameplay diversity. From erecting temporary bedrock walls to changing weather, from striking nearby creatures with lightning to randomly dyeing sheep – everyone will find their favorite spell.
Magical scrolls are crafted from standard materials and special tablets. The latter are created from clay and magic mushrooms. These mushrooms, in turn, are obtained from regular mushrooms with the addition of iron or gold, and through selection, you can breed new types necessary for crafting rare tablets.
Differences from the Original
Three spells from the old version (Grease, Meteor, Transport) were completely removed. The Book of Spells is now only available if the Patchouli mod is present – highly recommended for beginners to explore the mod's features. Minor adjustments have also been made to mushroom genetics and the effects of some spells.
Getting Started
Install the Patchouli mod and create the Book of Spells – it will clearly explain all the intricacies of working with magic.

Balance and Random Effects
Some consider magic too powerful, but the system has its limitations. Random magic surges (0.5% chance per spell) can lead to unpredictable consequences: for example, you might catch fire or receive weakness. Additional effects can be added in the settings. There is a way to avoid surges, but it requires significant resources and is temporary.
Version Support
The mod is created for Forge – no support for Fabric or other loaders is planned. Porting to older Minecraft versions is impossible, but new versions will be released as the developer finds time.
