The Dream Burst Spirit Vector mod introduces a unique pair of skates powered by spiritual energy. When using them, your movement completely transforms into dynamic parkour based on momentum preservation. This system requires skill but generously rewards mastery. Beyond basic parkour elements like wall jumps, slides, and vaults, the skates can be upgraded with Spirit Runes - up to three simultaneously. Each rune unlocks special tricks activated in mid-air. Basic movements accumulate Poise, which is spent on rune abilities.

Accumulating sufficient Poise reveals your wings.

Movement Mechanics

This mod is entirely dedicated to dynamics and momentum, inspired by the movement styles of games like Ultrakill and Jet Set Radio. This isn't just an addition to vanilla parkour - wearing the Spirit Vector fundamentally changes your character's entire movement system.

The spiritual skates are powered by spirit energy. The only currency here is Poise, or style. Sharp movements like wall jumps and ledge vaults increase your Poise, which gradually decreases when you're not sliding or wall rushing.

Poise is spent on special abilities tied to jumping, crouching, or sprinting in mid-air. You can customize the Spirit Vector by combining it with Spirit Runes to select abilities and Vector Runes to choose slots.

The basic movements of the Spirit Vector are too complex for complete description on a webpage. This demo world (for Minecraft 1.21) provides a detailed overview of the initial movement set and reveals some advanced techniques.
