Splatcraft

Splatcraft is a Minecraft modification inspired by Nintendo's iconic game Splatoon. The mod seamlessly integrates key elements from the original game into the Minecraft world: unique weapons, the ability to transform into a squid, Turf War mode, and many other interesting mechanics.

Main Features

Pressing the 'Z' key activates squid transformation. In this form, you can squeeze through narrow passages, pass through iron bars, and swim faster underwater. However, be careful — your speed will significantly decrease on land.

Equip an ink tank in your chestplate slot to gradually fill it with ink. This ink serves as ammunition for all the ink weapons added by the mod. The weapons coat mobs with a decorative layer of ink matching your color, damage players with different ink colors, and also color most blocks.

Inked blocks open up numerous tactical possibilities: in squid form, you can submerge into them if the color matches yours, allowing you to move faster, jump farther, passively regenerate health, and become invisible to other players and mobs. You can also climb up inked walls. But be careful — standing on ink of the opposite color will significantly slow you down and cause constant damage!

Resource Gathering and Weapon Crafting

To obtain most of the mod's items, you'll need to explore ocean depths in search of sardinium deposits — large rock formations containing ore that can be smelted into sardinium. During your journeys, you'll also find scraps and crates useful for weapon crafting. Crates can be inked to reveal their contents: large quantities of power eggs, blueprints for unlocking weapons, and exclusive cosmetic items.

The mod adds 35 unique weapon types, 27 weapon variants, and 4 ink tank types. Available weapon classes include shooters, blasters, rollers, brushes, chargers, dualies, sloshers, splatlings, and sub weapons.

Additional Features

In addition to weapons, the mod adds various blocks for map creation and redstone mechanisms, as well as for more effective use of the implemented mechanics.

Inkwells allow you to change the player's ink color. To do this, place an inkwell and stand on it in squid form. They can be crafted in an ink vat by combining power eggs, ink sacs, and an empty inkwell. Filters in the ink vat expand the available color palette.

The mod also includes numerous tools for map creation and game modes, allowing you to recreate the Splatoon experience and expand it by combining it with Minecraft's limitless possibilities.
