Spoiled
Spoils Over Time
This mod adds a realistic food spoilage system to Minecraft. All edible items gradually lose their freshness and completely spoil after one in-game day.
Preservation Methods
To prevent food from spoiling, simply place it inside a shulker box. This unique container creates special conditions that stop the decomposition process.
Settings and Configuration
The mod offers flexible configuration options for both client and server. In client settings, you can choose how freshness information is displayed - either as percentages or as text descriptions of the condition.
Server settings allow you to specify which containers don't accelerate the spoilage process. For example, when integrating with Cooking for Blockheads mod, you can add "FridgeTileEntity" to the container blacklist to keep food fresh in the refrigerator.
For Pack Developers
Spoiled is primarily designed for modpack creators. Using CraftTweaker, you can add or remove the spoilage system for specific items. Detailed instructions are available in the mod's wiki.
The mod works excellently with other culinary modifications, creating a more realistic and challenging food system in the game.
