The Spooky Foods modification brings to Minecraft a complete collection of supernatural culinary creations, each possessing not only nutritional properties but also unique mystical effects capable of surprising or even frightening the careless player.
Concept Overview
This addon offers various dishes with ghostly themes that can be crafted from components collected across different dimensions – from the familiar Overworld to the grim Nether, mystical End, and mysterious Deep Dark.
Product Features
- Sculk Steak: Provides significant hunger and saturation recovery while adding a regeneration effect. However, there's a 1% chance a Warden will materialize in front of the player.
- Creeper Cake: Upon consumption, it explodes, dealing damage to nearby entities and blocks while leaving the eater unharmed.
- Fireball Lollipop: Grants fire resistance and increased speed, but with a 20% chance could summon a Blaze nearby.
- Slimy Honeycomb: Improves jumping ability while simultaneously slowing character movement.
- Ender Egg: Gives night vision, with a 40% chance to summon an Enderman and 20% chance to spawn an Endermite.
- Rotten Apple: Causes hunger and nausea, but temporarily enhances damage resistance.
- Mud Bread: Speeds up resource gathering but weakens attack, with 10% probability of releasing a silverfish when eaten.
- Frozen Rotten Flesh: Instantly freezes the consumer, but in return provides increased protection from damage.
- Magma Cookie: Immediately sets the eater on fire, but after several seconds of burning grants immunity to fire.
- Spider Eye Soup: Briefly poisons the character, but grants them the ability to see in darkness.
- Phantom Ghast Drink: Allows slow falling and accelerates health recovery, but intensifies hunger and may summon a Phantom with 20% probability.
- Spoiled Chicken Bowl: Increases attack power, sometimes summoning a chicken, but also applies poisoning and enhances hunger.
- Ashen Apple: Protects against fire, but with 30% chance may poison the consumer.
- Skeleton Bone Broth: A nutritious dish that with 20% probability summons a nearby skeleton.
Crafting Mechanics
Most recipes in this mod don't require strict ingredient placement in the crafting table – components can be arranged in any order, significantly simplifying the process of creating supernatural delicacies.
