SquareMap Banner Mod

This extension for the SquareMap mod significantly expands the functionality of in-game banners. You can now use specially named banners to mark important locations on the world map.

💫 Main Features

This addon provides several useful features for map interaction:

Banner Marker Creation: By sneaking and right-clicking with a filled map while holding a named banner, you'll add that banner as a visible pointer on the world map.

Marker Removal: To remove a banner from the map, sneak and left-click with that banner on the map, or simply break the banner in the world.

Area Notifications: When entering an area marked by a banner, the player receives a text alert.

⚙️ Configuration Settings

The JSON configuration file offers the following parameters:

• radius: Defines the territory size covered by the banner
• announce_when_near_banner: Enables or disables notifications when approaching banner areas
• blacklist: Contains word restrictions that cannot be used for world map registration

🔗 Required Dependencies

For the mod to function properly, you need:

• Main Squaremap mod
• Fabric API

🔐 Permission Management

Players require the squaremap.banner.use permission to use the mod's features.

Without a permission manager installed, only players with permission level 1 and above can access the functions.
