SquareMap Banner Mod

This mod extends the functionality of SquareMap, adding new capabilities for working with banners in the game. With it, you can create markers on the world map using banners. The development is inspired by the squaremap-banners plugin.

Main Features

Banner Markers: By crouching and right-clicking with a named banner while holding a filled map, you add this banner to the world map.

Marker Removal: To remove a banner from the map, crouch and left-click with a named banner while holding a map, or simply break the banner itself.

Area Notifications: The system displays a message when a player enters an area marked by a banner.

Configuration

The mod uses a JSON configuration file with the following parameters:

• radius: Specifies the size of the area covered by the banner
• announce_when_near_banner: Enables or disables the message when approaching the banner's area
• blacklist: Contains a list of words that cannot be used for registration on the world map

Dependencies

For the mod to work, the following are required:

• Main SquareMap mod
• Fabric API

Permissions

• squaremap.banner.use: Permission required for players to use the mod's features
• If no permission manager is installed, only players with access level 1 and above can use the mod
