Stellarity ~ Lite

Stellarity lite title

This is a fork of Stellarity - a datapack that completely overhauls The End. This version contains only the world generation part and is fully community-driven. No support, bug fixes, or updates are guaranteed.

Installation

Singleplayer

Simply place the datapack in the datapacks folder!

Multiplayer

Place the datapack in the datapacks folder and ensure that the enable-command-blocks setting is set to true in the server.properties file.

Current bugs Known bugs as of version 3.0.5.6:
- Crystal beams not spawning when summoning the dragon in version 1.21.1 (unfortunately, there is no fix) - 90% CPU usage, what's going on??? Know any other bugs? Contact @szarkans on Discord or create a bug report on the kohara's basement Discord.

Features

World Generation Stellarity's The End generation No shaders for better clarity. A total of 23 new biomes have been added, including 4 overhauled vanilla End biomes (technically only two of them since the other two serve no purpose in vanilla). Biomes in Stellarity can be divided into 4 categories: - Fields - open areas mostly covered with grass. - Barrens - typically hilly and desolate, featuring low block variety in generation. - Forests - well, it's a forest... not much else to say here. - Frozen - sub-variants of existing biomes with a bleak white color palette, or simply frozen. The screenshot above shows 3 biomes: in the front are Crystal Crags (barrens), on the right is The Nest (also barrens), behind them are End Midlands (fields), in the center are Ender Wastes (barrens), and far back are End Wilds (fields). Check the image gallery for more biome showcases. Islands are no longer bound to a single Y level, providing a huge variety of terrain shapes. Stellarity's The End generation
Structures 1 Strongholds have been completely redesigned. The walls of this fortress are home to Illagers who guard the End Portals. https://imgur.com/34PJ0oZ They are about 5 times larger and feature large numbers of the aforementioned Illagers, who can also drop a few new items that might help in fighting the Ender Dragon. https://i.imgur.com/fbg3HIb.png End Cities have been redesigned from the ground up to increase their difficulty and reinforce their status as endgame structures. Inspired by Trial Chambers, they are filled with Trial Spawners that spawn upgraded versions of Overworld mobs and drop keys used to open Vaults. In case the City Trials weren't challenging enough, almost every tower contains a protective End Crystal that prevents nearby players from placing or breaking blocks. https://i.imgur.com/ypTJ6bL.png Both large functional structures and small ambient ones have been scattered throughout The End to give it more life, lore, and personality. Because it badly needed those. Yes, that is a Village in The End. Yes, Villagers sell different things there.

Compatibility

Fully incompatible - 🔴 BetterEnd - causes a huge number of micro-biomes to generate scattered throughout the dimension. It also makes small changes that break some of the workarounds needed for this datapack to function. For context, some of the things I'm doing are like repeatedly hitting the game with a baseball bat and gluing it back together with super glue.
- 🔴 YUNG's Better End Island - there is no way to make these two projects compatible since they handle main island changes differently. Compatibility is planned for version 1.21.4 and later.
- 🔴 Probably any other custom Dragon fight datapacks/mods.
Partially incompatible - 🟡 Quark - make sure to disable unlocking all recipes in the configuration. - 🟡 Enlightend - There have been reports that Stellarity's biomes take priority over Englithend's, preventing the latter from generating. This can be fixed by manually editing Stellarity's the_end.json file. Simply replace some biomes (preferably ones that look similar to what you want to replace them with!) with Enligthend's biomes, and it should work. It might take a few attempts to get it perfect and avoid creating micro-biomes.
- 🟡 End's Phantasm - same issue as Enligthend, fixed in the same way.
