StreamDC — Death Counter for Streamers
Welcome to the world of StreamDC! This minimalist utility was specially created for those who stream Minecraft gameplay to enthusiastic audiences! It operates simultaneously on both client and server, carefully counting all your unfortunate demises.
How It Works
With each in-game death, the mod creates a text file in your game instance directory named <world_name>_deathcounter.txt. Inside awaits just one meaningful number — your total death count throughout this specific world.
If you're playing on a multiplayer server, don't worry — the filename automatically changes to match the server address you're connected to, making statistics management much more convenient.
Command Control
The mod adds a couple of helpful commands:
Simply type /dc in chat — and you'll see the server's TOP-5 most active "dyers" displayed clearly!
Need to adjust your stats? No problem! Use /dc set <number> to modify your current death counter to any desired value.
Important Note
To get the full benefit from StreamDC, you need to install it on both your client and the server. Only then will statistics tracking work perfectly!
