Sturdy Trees

This mod fundamentally changes the wood harvesting mechanics in Minecraft. Trees become significantly more durable and resistant to breaking, and when chopped down, the player receives only limited resources - small wood fragments instead of full logs.

To gain access to regular logs, the player must demonstrate ingenuity: first, use the obtained fragments to create a crafting table, then craft an axe, and only after that will it be possible to harvest solid logs in the usual way.

This gameplay mechanic was adapted and improved based on the original system from the Better Than Wolves mod by developer FlowerChild, with the introduction of own adjustments and refinements.

Planned Updates

The following improvements are expected in future versions of the mod:

• Refinement and improvement of the tree breaking mechanics
• Implementation of staged sapling growth with visible development phases
• Addition of charred logs with unique properties
