Sturdy Vehicles Mod
Enhanced minecart and boat handling with fully customizable crafting
Formerly known as Sturdy Carts, this mod provides players with expanded control over Minecraft vehicles.
Main item separation features:
- Deconstruct loaded minecarts into components directly at the crafting table
- Extract chests from chest boats while keeping the main vehicle
- Custom names are preserved during both separation and combination
The system supports all major minecart types: chest minecarts, furnace minecarts, hopper minecarts, and even TNT minecarts. Transport quality remains intact throughout processing.
Built-in Datapacks
The mod uses a modular datapack system that can be easily enabled or disabled according to needs:
- Uncraft Minecarts (enabled by default) - transforms complex minecarts into basic ones
- Uncraft Chest Boats (enabled by default) - removes chests from water transport
- Preserve Names (enabled by default) - transfers custom names between items
- Additional packs for modifying vehicle destruction behavior
All management is done through standard datapack commands - /datapack enable|disable "sturdy_vehicles:pack_name".
Compatibility and Features
The mod works on servers and in single-player games. For full compatibility in games prior to version 1.20.X, Nbt Crafting library installation is required.
Sturdy Vehicles utilizes the datapack system, making it easily adaptable to any modifications and modpacks. Server owners can create custom recipes by following the mod documentation.
