Survivality - Survival Enhancement Collection
This mod is a collection of small but useful changes that make survival gameplay more convenient and diverse.
Tool and Mechanics Improvements
Shovels can now remove snow layers by right-clicking. Minecarts have become significantly faster. Armor and elytra can be quickly swapped directly from the hotbar, just like in Bedrock Edition. Boots with the "Feather Falling" enchantment no longer damage farmland.
Mob and Spawn Changes
Horses struck by lightning transform into zombie horses that can be tamed and ridden. Slimes and magma cubes can spawn in larger sizes. Sheep occasionally spawn with any wool color. Dungeons in certain biomes replace their spawner mobs with more fitting ones: zombies in oceans become drowned, in hot biomes become husks, and skeletons in cold biomes become strays.
Quality of Life
Eyes of Ender no longer break when used. Anvils never indicate that a repair is "Too Expensive." Players drop significantly more experience upon death, proportional to their level. Cactus items are not destroyed by cactus blocks. Signs can be re-edited.
Additional Features
Night vision effect strength depends on its level. Multishot supports more levels and shoots more arrows. Tridents have a higher drop rate from drowned. Rockets boost vehicles and mounted animals. Boats pass through lily pads, breaking them.
Random Elements
New worlds can start at any time of day, with any weather, and in any biome. Leaves turn white during snowfall. Glow berries, sweet berries, and cookies are consumed faster. Polar bears occasionally spawn with stray skeletons riding them.
