Sweet Tales Update
The Sweet Tales Update mod introduces completely new jam mechanics, an underground civilization, and exciting adventures to Minecraft. This project was created for the MCreator x CurseForge ModJam 2024 competition and continues to evolve.
Culinary Innovations
26 types of jam - create thousands of unique combinations from various ingredients. Each jam has 4 consumption stages and can be placed in the world for decoration.
Special jam pot - the key tool for jam production. Creation requires maximum two different ingredients, sugar, a jar, and water.
Crafting mini-game - two creation methods: direct crafting or an engaging mini-game with bonus effects. In the mini-game, you need to click when the indicator is over the green zone to get bonuses before time runs out. Bonuses can be both positive and negative, affecting the duration of jam effects.
Additional ingredients - use a milk bucket to remove all negative effects. All jam recipes are supported by the Just Enough Items mod.
Underground Earth Shroud Civilization
Discover an ancient tribe of jam experts living in underground villages. Total of 5 different villages and 1 shrine are available.
Tribe features:
- Cultivate mushrooms and breed creatures called Mossy Walkers
- Eat dried meat, which can now be dried and consumed in the game
- Love jam
- Due to their short stature, be careful with low ceilings in their dwellings
Decoration blocks - added unique blocks combining glass and wood. Unlike standard Mojang blocks, they can be placed in any direction, and when combining different slabs creates a special visual effect.
Combat System and Boss
The tribe uses three new weapon types: staff, spear, and blowgun.
Boss battle - in Earth Shroud shrines, you need to assemble a special structure to summon the boss. Place Redstone Cores on outer pillars, Ender Pearls on inner ones, and a Drum in the center. Click the drum until the music stops - an explosive boss will appear!

Development Plans
The mod author plans regular updates:
Stage 1: Fixing minor bugs, adding spoons, introducing more significant jam types, additional village and shrine variations.
Stage 2: Implementing Earth Shroud animations (originally animated but time constraints prevented inclusion), using pillars to showcase all items, fixing issues with half-doors, and adding all wood types.
Stage 3: Expanding boss mechanics - Earth Shroud assistance in battle, requiring consultation with a shaman to perform boss summoning rituals.
