Star Worm HueMoos

This mod was originally created as a surprise thank-you gift for the SWE/M team with special consideration for LegaLace1. Despite delays due to priorities and limited resources, it has finally arrived.

Colorful Cows for Item Dyeing

Welcome to the world of HueMoos! These are colorful little cows that dye your items for free. Build and decorate your world in any Minecraft color that matches your mood!

Warning: This mod might create some complications for mods and packs that depend on the scarcity of certain flowers and dyes, but there's a configuration option for that!

How HueMoos Work

Locate a MooShroom island and give a MooShroom a dye. Transformation! Now you have a HueMoo! Simply take any dyeable item (including items from other mods) and right-click the HueMoo. Your items will be redyed in batches of 16.

If you prefer to craft what you need, you can "milk" the cow using bottles or buckets to get paint. Be careful - each cow has a limited paint supply (64 points). They become paler as paint is used. Give them time to eat grass or feed them wildflowers to restore their paint supply.

Mod Items

• Paint Bottles (16 colors) - Dye one item at a time. Take 1 paint point from HueMoo
• Paint Buckets (16 colors) - Dye one item at a time. Take 9 paint points from HueMoo
• Quarris' paint system automatically works with any dyeable items, both vanilla and from other mods
• Bottle of Chocolate Milk - Grants Jump Boost I effect for 15 seconds
• Bucket of Chocolate Milk - Grants Jump Boost I effect for 60 seconds
• Hot Chocolate - Crafted from chocolate milk in a furnace or brewing stand. Grants Jump Boost II and Absorption effects for 60 seconds
• HueMoo Wildflowers - Crafted from 5 wheat and 4 flowers of any color. Restore 8 paint points to HueMoo

Breeding

Breeding HueMoos follows a logical color scheme. Red HueMoo + White HueMoo = Pink HueMoo. Blue + White = Light Blue. And so on. Feed HueMoos wheat and they'll find a partner to breed with.

Colors: white (0), orange (1), magenta (2), light_blue (3), yellow (4), lime (5), pink (6), gray (7), light_gray (8), cyan (9), purple (10), blue (11), brown (12), green (13), red (14), black (15).

Configuration Options

• Convert MooShrooms to HueMoos (default: On)
• Natural HueMoo spawning (default: Off)
• Infinite chocolate milk from chocolate HueMoos (default: Off)
• Natural paint regeneration through grass eating (default: On)
• Item blacklist for dyeing

For Pack Creators

This mod requires GeckoLib. Use the blacklist configuration if dyeing certain items could disrupt game progression.
