Tarot Cards

Embark on a quest to find all 22 Tarot cards scattered throughout the Minecraft world! Each card grants you a unique passive ability that activates simply by being in your inventory. This compact mod adds only the cards and their abilities - they cannot be crafted, but can be found in various loot chests.

Unique Card Abilities

All card effects work automatically while they are in your inventory. Cards of the same type do not stack. You can toggle any card's effect on and off by simply using it.

• Death: Deal 20% more damage to non-undead mobs
• Judgement: 15% chance to deal double damage
• Justice: 25% of damage taken is returned to the attacker
• Strength: Constant Strength 2 effect
• Temperance: Hunger depletes 25% slower
• The Chariot: Movement speed increased by 20%
• The Devil: Attacks inflict weakness on enemies
• The Emperor: Constant Hero Of The Village 3 effect
• The Empress: Animals nearby breed, babies grow faster
• The Fool: Jump Boost 3
• The Hanged Man: Receive 50% of damage taken as experience
• The Hermit: +10 Armor when away from allies
• The Hierophant: Gain 150% more experience
• The High Priestess: Upgrades enchanted books in hand using experience
• The Lovers: Nearby allies are granted Regeneration 3
• The Magician: Golden items won't break
• The Moon: Constant Night Vision
• The Star: Interaction range increased by 50%
• The Sun: Maximum health increased by 25%
• The Tower: Immune to Fall Damage
• The World: Nearby mobs receive Slowness 3
• The Wheel Of Fortune: +3 Luck

Where to Find Cards

By default, each card has a 20% chance to spawn once in:

• Desert Pyramids
• Dungeons
• End Cities
• Nether Fortresses
• Mineshafts
• Shipwrecks
• Stronghold Libraries
• Village Temples

The Tarot Deck

A special deck that can hold one of each card type for convenient storage. Can be equipped as an accessory - card effects continue to work even when they are inside the deck. The deck is also fire immune!

Note: There is currently an issue where the Tarot Deck becomes empty when switching to creative mode on a server. Finding a solution is taking longer than expected, it's probably a Forge issue. It is recommended not to use the deck if you plan to switch game modes.
