Teleportals

Teleportals is an engaging modification project currently under active development that provides players with various methods of teleportation within the Minecraft world. The concept for creating such an addition was inspired by an idea originally proposed by user The_Pastmaster.

Basic Teleportals

Standard teleportation setups allow movement between similar structures located within 50 blocks of each other. A notable feature is the ability to create movement chains - when multiple sequential transitions are placed, the character automatically moves from one to the next.

The process of activating a standard teleportal begins with building a hollow 5×5 block frame made of emerald blocks. To start the mechanism, you need to right-click the central block in the bottom row of the frame while holding an emerald block.

Advanced Teleportals

Powerful teleportation installations provide instant movement over any distance between structures with the same corner block combination. Such transitions work regardless of the structure's orientation in space. When multiple destination points with the same combination are available, teleportation occurs randomly between all available options.

To activate such a mechanism, create the same 5×5 frame of emerald blocks, but use a diamond block when right-clicking. The key element is setting up a unique combination - you need to replace the four corner blocks of the frame with arbitrary blocks of your choice.

Focal Lens

This special component extends the range of standard teleportals by an additional 50 blocks (value configurable through mod configuration files).

Lenses can be positioned up to 50 blocks away from the first teleportal, while the second teleportation structure can be located up to 50 blocks away from the lens.

The process of creating a focal lens involves building a full 5×5 frame of emerald blocks and then filling the internal space with glass panes.

Crucial consideration: the lens must be positioned along a straight line between the two connected teleportals for proper operation.

Beacon Beam Movement

The teleportation mechanism through a beacon activates when a glass platform is placed above a functioning beacon. When the player stands directly on the beacon's surface, automatic movement occurs to the specified platform with a maximum range of 75 blocks (parameter configurable through mod settings).

Important note: the destructive slabs shown in the screenshot example are not a required construction element - they are added solely to simplify access to the beacon.
