
Terraria-Fied Armor Defense
This mod is a compact addition for mod units, created as a separate project to prevent conflicts with existing defense systems. It is fully compatible with other mods and requires no additional dependencies.
The main change concerns the armor mechanics: instead of the standard percentage-based damage reduction, a point-based damage reduction system is introduced. For example, with 10 armor points and receiving 15 damage, the final damage will be only 5. The modifier does not affect percentage damage and special attack types, and maintains compatibility with protection enchantments on armor.
When attacked with damage lower than your armor value, the minimum damage received ranges from 0.1 to 1 unit, preventing complete invulnerability situations.
